Shoes

Since becoming pregnant, my once narrow size 9 feet (we're talking AA) have become a 10 wide (a C!). Seriously. While I'm sure the wide factor will be a figment of the past post-delivery (as it is a by-product of swelling - sexy, huh?), the 10 has the possibility of sticking around. If this is the case, I'll need to invest in a few new pairs of shoes for fall. At the top of my wish list? Horizontal striped flats.

Clips

I haven't worn shoe clips since grade school, but these are perfect for the surprise date Greg has planned for me this coming Valentine's Day weekend. I'm tres excited!

Toms

All my shoes and boots have salt stains; this is a historic pet peeve of mine. There are snow drifts surrounding our car. And our shovel finds permanent placement next to our front door. Despite these weather realities, I'm drawn to Toms. For every pair you purchase, one pair is given to a child in need. I'm particularly enjoying the striped and silver sequin varieties.

Update from Saturday, January 23: I tried to purchase a pair of shiny silver sequined Toms today, but the shop was all out of my size. Boo!

Heels

This week my wedding dress came home with me (correction: was delivered to my grandma's closet for safe-keeping). Yes, that's right, I didn't have to wait four months for an order to arrive as the dress was on the rack and had never been tried on by anyone else before. My dress arrived in the shop earlier that day and was the perfect size and colour. I quite lucked out!

All that remains now is to find a pair of shoes so that the hemming can begin. I'm currently crushing on these selections from J Crew.

Heels

I'm delving into a love affair with coloured high heels - pump and peep toe. I've recently purchased navy and pink, while red, green and yellow remain on my hit list. Both shoes via Net-A-Porter.
