Wallpaper
This is the perfect wallpaper solution for a broke student (or an uptown maven...). I wish I'd thought of it when studying in Kingston. The faux taxidermy is also fun. Images via Lace and Tea.
Framing
Always keen to find new options for DIY pop art, I love this idea originally from Blueprint and recently profiled on Little Green Notebook - using photographs of common items, blowing them up and framing them. I'd love to do a collection of our spatulas and cooking utensils.
Diner
I have a penchant for diners. I love French fries and milkshakes, and I'm slowly learning to enjoy burgers. Every time Greg and I visit Vancouver, we stop at the fantastic Moderne Burger on West Broadway with family and friends. We always have such fun! St. John's desperately needs a 50s Diner and Malt Shop. To make a diner-worthy, vanilla milkshake - I recommend this recipe.Aug 1, 2010
